Lynne Sims-Taylor, Partner

Before joining the partnership, Lynne provided entertainment counsel to U.S. and foreign clients as a media consultant, an attorney, and Director of Business Affairs at Discovery Communications, Inc. She has drafted and negotiated scores of development, production, distribution, financing, licensing, and ancillary products deals, and provides strategic business counsel to start-up and established talent and production companies. Lynne graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology. Following a Master’s program in television at San Francisco State University, Lynne launched her television career by writing and producing a four-part series about changes in American urban areas. She traveled extensively in North America and in Asia, Africa and Europe.  Lynne studied law at The Ohio State University of Law, Oxford University in England, and Georgetown University Law Center. She is licensed in New York, Maryland and Iowa.
